Tourist Visa for Canada (NON-EU CITIZENS)

VALIDITY

For foreign passport holders residing in Italy who require a visa, the necessary documents are:

• Intact passport with a minimum residual validity of 6 months + photocopy
• 2 original passport photos
• Copy of the residence permit in Italy and photocopy of the Italian identity card
• Form [IMM 5257] to be completed online and printed
• Form [IMM 5645] to be completed online and printed
• Form [IMM 5707E] to be completed online and printed
• Documentation certifying financial availability (e.g. bank statement, pay slip, savings book)

For Tourism add:

If visiting relatives, attach invitation letter and photocopy of Canada entry visa (Landing record or photocopy of their valid Canadian passport)

Letter from employer stating date of employment, details of duties and type of contract, approval of holiday period. In the case of self-employment, documentation certifying your activity if you are a freelancer, attach documentation proving this activity.

For Business add:

Canadian company invitation letter on letterhead with stamp and signature

Visa request letter from the Italian company in original written in English stamped and signed Any contract between the parties

Release time: from 20 to 30 days (depends on the period)

This approval does not mean you can travel to Canada. You have to wait until we enter the visa in the passport you send us.

If your application has not been approved:

You will receive the decision by email. This will explain why your application was rejected.
