Family reunification

WHO CAN REQUEST FAMILY REUNION* ?

The foreigner residing in Italy, holder of a valid residence card or residence permit, with a duration of not less than one year, issued for the following reasons:

• Subordinate work
• Self -employment
• A political silo**
• Study _
• Religious reasons
• Family reasons

Document list:

1. SPID download form
2. Photocopy of residence permit - identity card - tax code
3. Photocopy of your passport and that of your family members
4. Family certificate or self-certification download form
5. Certificate of widowhood (Only if the family member is widowed)
6. If over 65 you need a commitment to take out an insurance policy
7. Accommodation suitability issued by the Municipality of residence.
8. Documentation certifying income CUD, 730, Unique Model ( See the table below for the required income )
9. Model S2 download form if you are a guest or renter and need to reunite a family member
10. Copy of the rental contract or deed of sale of the accommodation.
11. Model S1 download form if you are a guest and only need to reunite your minor child aged 14
12. Revenue stamp €16.00

For subordinate work

1. Model S3 download form if you are an employee
2. UNILAV job communication
3. Last three pay stubs

For self-employment:

1. Chamber of Commerce certificate
2. weighing scale
3. Accountant's professional card or ID

** For ASYLUM-subsidiary applicants: The availability of an income or accommodation is not required.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE NULLA OSTA

Once the authorization for reunification has been obtained from the One Stop Shop for Immigration, the family members for whom the authorization has been requested, will be able to apply for an entry visa for Italy to the Italian diplomatic-consular authority responsible for the country of origin at the time of the request, presenting the certification certifying the relationship of kinship, marriage, minor age and any necessary civil status document, duly translated and legalized

Once the entry visa has been obtained, the reunited family members, within 8 days of their entry into Italy , must request an appointment through the CISI help desks or contact us to complete the first entry procedure at the Immigration Help Desk.

The Sportello Unico will issue a receipt to the reunited family members for the collection of the First Residence Permit for Family Reunification at the competent Police Headquarters.
