What is a Bank Guarantee ?

The bank guarantee is an indispensable guarantee for obtaining a tourist visa when a foreign citizen, who is invited by a person in Italy, obtains an appointment at the Italian Consulate or the Italian Embassy in his country of origin.

The guaranteed amount for us is fixed and is the maximum established by law € 3,905.00

The duration of the Bank Guarantee for foreigners is 180 days (six months) and is used to stay in Italy for a maximum of 90 days (three months).

Documents necessary for issuing the tourist visa guarantee

• Copy of the identity card of the person inviting the foreign citizen (the contracting party of the surety). To add a copy of the residence permit if the host is in turn a non-European citizen but resident in Italy.
• Self-declaration of income (on the form that we provide), of the person inviting the foreigner to Italy
• Copy of the passport of the foreign citizen who wants to stay in Italy (beneficiary of the guarantee). The first two pages including photos and personal data are enough.
